SharePoint 2016 system restart from previous installation or update is pending

Question

After I finished the installation of the SharePoint Server 2016 prerequisites. I opened the SharePoint 2016 setup application to install the SharePoint 2016 but I faced the following error: 

system restart from previous installation or update is pending restart your computer and run setup to continue

I have restarted the SharePoint server many times and this issue still exists. How can I solve it?

If you have tried to restart the SharePoint Server multiple times and you till get A system restart from a previous installation or update is pending restart your computer and run setup to continue, so you should do the following:

Steps

1. Go to Registry Editor (type in command prompt RegEdit)

2. Locate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

3. Rename the value PendingFileRenameOperations to BypassPendingFileRenameOperations

4. Close the Registry Editor window

5. Rerun the SharePoint Setup file, you will note that the SharePoint Installation bypass the restart error message.
